Automatic Shed Lights
This mod turns your farm’s sheds, halls, farmhouses (if their light setup supports it), and animal barns (if their light setup supports it) into a smart motion-aware lighting system. No more remembering to flick switches by hand. During the hours you set, lights act like a proximity sensor: they switch on automatically when you (on foot) or a running vehicle come within your chosen detection range, and switch off again once everyone’s moved away. Outside those hours, lights stay off entirely, so there’s no wasted light shining all night.
Fully configurable in-game — no file editing or console commands needed. Head to Esc menu → General Settings to find:
An on/off toggle for the whole mod
A detection radius dropdown (5m–100m)
On/off times for each season — Spring (Mar–May), Summer (Jun–Aug), Autumn (Sep–Nov), and Winter (Dec–Feb) — each adjustable in 30-minute steps
All your changes save automatically. The mod runs quietly in the background, works safely in multiplayer, and automatically detects any new eligible buildings you place on your farm including cow barns, pig sties, sheep pens, chicken coops, and horse stables alongside your sheds and halls.
