FS25: Weather, Water Effects & Engine
FS25: Weather, Water Effects & Engine
Effects & Weather, Engine Features:
– The environment reacts to weather, water droplets now appear on machines, colors or materials become more shiny + darker if wet, also various effects of rain or driving in it were added.
– 3D mud and snow get caught on the tires that fall off while driving.
– Shadows were added to previously non-shadowed objects, finally, vehicle lights also cast shadows, which could mean, no more illumination through towers, buildings, and so on = each object casts a shadow or blocks light.
– Connecting textures with objects in a 3D editor.
– Higher ground resolution from original 2m to 1m and 12.5cm Displacement Mapping.
– Reactions of water on vehicles that get wet after the water rises.
– A huge step in optimization and vegetation.
– Reflections in real-time, on machines/water.
– Strong progress in machine sounds and materials.
– Shadows are counted according to the position of the sun or the weather – thus the shadows are either sharper or more blurred.
