John Deere 2210 Sub-Compact Beta 2 v1.0.0.0

This is a 90% beta release to the community. Please read the description below and don’t hesitate to leave a message or question. This is a John Deere 2210 from 2003-2006. In reality it could be considered a 655, 755, 855 2210, 2305, 4100, from the same era.

The tractor and loader are one file. The deck and bucket are separate files.

Here is what I know still needs work. I intend to continue to learn the modding practices, but hope you at least can have some enjoyment.

Errors: Yup. It’s got errors. Some of them I have no clue what the mean. I’ll learn.
Collisions: Mostly they work. But it has some interesting traits. Like, with the loaded on, you have to back over the deck. With the loader off you can drive foward or reverse over the deck to attach.
Meshes: I converted all the required layers for FS25 but it’s still missing all the cools stuff like rain, dirt, and mud. I’ll continue learning.
Lights: They shine outward. But look like nothing when you look back at the tractor.
Probably much more. Again, I have to start/learn somehow.
This John Deere 2210 sub-compact utility tractor is my first real mod attempt. I’ve only used reference mods and videos to come up with this amalgamation of a tractor. To the seasoned modder you will find a number of things that need attention. I’m fully aware and intend to keep working on the project, but I don’t want to delay anyone that want’s to give this mod a try.

Thank you to SleutjesModding for allowing me the use of your recently released mower deck. Thank you to Smokey Bear Modding for the original idea of a sub compact with the Case IH235.

The idea for this tractor came from FS19 and FS22 and Smokey Bear Modding.

I pulled much of the body and parts off the 235 and rebuilt the frame, engine, hood, and rear off. I used the xml to learn.
The loader was also borrowed from this pack.
The remaining items from the original Case I did not touch (Tiller, Blade, Bags, Weights, trailer). The original was/is a really cool mod for FS22 and is linked above.
The sounds are from the in-game CVT Fent Vario 200.
The hood is a shrunken version of the FS22 John Deere 5403. So are the side engine panels.
The engine is a Yanmar out of a base in-game tractor.
The frame is built out of cubes and planes right in GE10.
The bucket is a base bucket that is shrunk down.
The deck is from SleutjesModding and is the recent John Deere 110 that has gotten fat and stretched to approximately 72″ cutting capacity. It retains Sleutjes’ animations but yes, I had to pull stuff off of it.
It can mulch.
It can discharge to the right
It can discharge down the center.
For the most part the entire system functions very well and I am happy to play in FS25.
I still have much work to do. No, I don’t think I have the skillset to try and make this a mod-hub submission, but if there are any serious modders that would like the challenge, don’t hesitate to contact me, I’d be happy t

Changelog Beta 2:

  • AG, Lawn & Garden and R4 tires with proper mud and wetness added.
  • Correct JD Steering Wheel
  • Corrected JD levers
  • Rear reflectors
  • Updated hubs with proper mud/dirt textures
  • Added wheels to deck
