Farming Simulator 22: MaizePlus and MaizePlus CCM

Farming Simulator 22: MaizePlus and MaizePlus CCM

We want to show you some additions to Farming Simulator 22 that were created by Modelleicher and The-Allien-Paul. They are called The Maize Plus and MaizePlus CCM add-ons.

Did you know this very interesting fact about putting stuff into bunker silos? Anything you put there turns into chaff. Cool, isn’t it? These script mods can really help turn your game super real life like.

This particular mod will help you out to feed your pigs, it also has a variation of silage that is very realistic to real life farming world.

Adds New Silage Types.

Anything that turns into silage is called chaff in Farming Simulator 22. As we said before, in this MaizePlus mod, you will find a lot more variety of different silage, which is very realistic to farming life outside the game.

First of all, you can find crop silage (Wcs.) So if you want to grow anything in this game (except for corn and grass), you would put them into bunkers and that will end up in crop silage.

There is another type of silage that you will find and it turns from corn. Therefore, instead of turning into chaff, once you cut and chop your corn it will turn to Fresh Chopped Maize.

Finally, the last type is of course the silage grass. You can get it when you collect the grass by utilizing the forage harvester.

We want to remind you that you can utilize these new types of silage to create TMR or you can feed your cows.

New Textures

To sum this up, now depending on what you harvest, you will be able to have three new types of silage. Also, what’s important to note is that new amazing textures were created by The-Alien-Paul for each of the new types of silage.

If you want to create silage bales instead of having them in bunkers, you are able to utilize any baler and you can pretty much bale each of the feeds but not the raw CCM (Corn Cub Mix).

CCM (Corn Cub Mix)

There is a very amazing new feature in the MaizePlus and MaizePlus CCM mods – it will be possible to turn corn into corn cub mix (CCM). This substance is used usually to feed pigs and for cattle fattening if you are a farmer in the real farming world. In the Farming Simulator 22 game you will be able to use it for feeding your pigs just follow the instructions below:

  • Simply utilize your standard harvester and harvest your corn;
  • Utilize Global COmpany CCM mill to make corn flour (CCM raw) from you grown corn;
  • Fill up your bunker silo with all the corn flour that you made;

After you have done all of this, just treat your CCM as simple silage. Only after the CCM has fermented and been compacted will it become suitable to eat for you pigs. Also, remember that you cannot make bales from the CCM.

Automatic Content Switch

What we found really cool is that depending on what you put in your silo bunker, the inside contents can dramatically change. Be aware though that you cannot overfill it – the content must be below 4000 liters.

To illustrate how cool it is – imagine this: you currently have your silo bunker filled with 3000 liters of raw CCM. What you want to fill it in with is actually some grass silage. So, what you need to do is simply to load some of that grass into the bunker and watch how the raw CCM turns into the grass silage!

Limitations

It’s probably no surprise to you that there are some limitations to the mods. We want to explain to you a bit about the heightTypelimits. This particular limit has a rule of how many different variations of wheat, chaff or corn you can dump on the ground in Farming Simulator 22.

  • MaizePlus has added 4 new height types and MaizePlus CCM added 2 additional types.
  • The basic game base has 31 height types and the standard Farming Simulator 22 materials and crops take up 23.

So, altogether we end up with 29 out of 31 limits – 23 is from the base and there are another 6 from the new Maize plus addons.

We want you to bear in mind that if you’d be trying out a map that contains many additional fruits, then this mod might struggle working because there would be simply too many height types. One exception that we have are the modified height type limits maps.

Works with Seasons 22,But…

The good thing about the Maize Plus add ons is that they are compatible with Seasons 22 and work. However, there are some details that we think you should know!

For example, Seasons 22 have their own additional height types, so you need to bear in mind that all of them won’t work at the same time. In order to make that happen, you will need to modify the map to add more material on the ground. Have a look at the below:

  • Seasons 22 – 3 height types;
  • Maize Plus – 4 materials;
  • Maize Plus CCM – 2 height types;
  • Base game – 23 height types;

Therefore, everything above sums up to 32 height types – a bit too much to meet the limit of the base game. What we suggest doing in this case is to only utilize Maize Plus and not CCm extension.

Video Introduction

If you want to learn everything by watching a video then you should definitely check out this one one that was made by The Alien Paul! It is very helpful.

FS22 MaizePlus and MaizePlus CCM

I think that both MaizePlus add-ons are excellent. They add a great deal of realism to the game. I especially appreciate that the modders also have taken the time to create new textures, as well.

We really enjoyed Maize Plus add ons, they are truly amazing and make the game very special and life-like indeed. What’s more, the fact that new textures were also created is a very huge deal to add to the game. We are very thankful to the modders that have created these add ons!

  • Creators: Modelleicher and The Alien Paul;
  • Platforms: Mac and PC;
  • Needed mods: GlobalCompany and GlobalCompany – CCM Mill
  • Category: Game play;
  • Purpose: new Corn Cub Mix addition, more life-like silage production

Just some additional information – if you use More Bunkersilo mod by Derelky, you should not use the Alien Pauls and Modelleicher’s add ons because the combination is going to be too much for the game,
